2020

The Humble Beginning
Aakanksha Group started operations with a single center and a small group of 6 courageous women in Birpur, Begusarai. In 2020, during a time of global uncertainty, we defied the lockdowns to prove that trust is stronger than fear. We didn't just give loans; we gave hope when the world came to a standstill. Our goal was simple: to prove that creditworthiness is not defined by assets, but by character.

2021

Bounce Back
As the second wave of the pandemic tested our resilience, we refused to let our members fall. While others paused operations, we extended a critical lifeline through flexible repayment plans and emergency credit support, ensuring our members could feed their families and keep small businesses alive during the crisis.

2022

Rapid Expansion & Recognition
Thanks to our transparent policies, we expanded to over 70+ centers. This year marked the introduction of our digital record-keeping system, reducing paperwork and speeding up loan processing times by 50%.

2023

Deepening Our Roots
A major milestone in our physical growth—we proudly inaugurated our second branch in Khodabandpur. This expansion wasn't just about a new building; it was about accessibility. This strategic move doubled our operational capacity, allowing us to bring our services closer to thousands of unserved families close to the Samastipur district, making financial support faster and easier to access.

Strengthening Foundations
Our impact grew beyond a small circle. By 2024, we had expanded our reach to hundreds of villages, helping thousands of families achieve financial stability. Scaling & Modernization
We prepared for the future. We consolidated our operations across both branches and upgraded our backend infrastructure. The goal was clear: 100% transparency. We began building the architecture for the web portal we use today.

The Digital Revolution
We launched our web portal to bring 100% transparency to our community. Every member can now track their savings and loan progress live on their smartphone. We have effectively bridged the gap between complex banking and rural accessibility, placing financial dignity directly at their fingertips.
